The Centre for Dryland Development & Resilience Systems (CDDRS) is a Somali-led nonprofit technical institution delivering integrated solutions in climate resilience, dryland development, and sustainable food systems across Somalia.

CDDRS combines technical expertise, data-driven approaches, and community-centered methodologies to design, implement, and evaluate high-impact interventions that address the interconnected challenges of climate change, food insecurity, environmental degradation, and livelihood vulnerability. Our work is grounded in strong Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability, and Learning (MEAL) systems, ensuring that our programs are measurable, scalable, accountable, and aligned with national priorities and global development frameworks.

Our interventions are strictly designed to support and scale regional drought resilience frameworks, working in direct coordination with National and Regional Government Institutions, IGAD, and international agencies to address shared transboundary climate risks across the Horn of Africa.
